Serene: "The death of Bowie in early 2016 ushered in a slew of rock pioneer deaths that year but Bowie's was perhaps the most shocking as he had just released a new album. I played at a tribute show to Bowie at the Rhythm Room on March 20. I covered "The Little Bombadier" coz I knew no one would claim that one and this song which I assembled from samples from a Tito Puente concert on YouTube and synth blips.

With Bowie still on everyone's mind, I called Tim McDonald of Broken Poets to collaborate on a few songs and this track from Low was one he'd never heard. To date, it is the only cover song released on an Onus Single of the Weekend besides "I Ain't Got To Love Nobody Else" by The Human Torch. The Bowie decapitating cigarette lighter I believe was a real product, pretty tacky considering he died of cancer."
