At Onus Records, a lot of music passes through our inbox for consideration as "Single of the Weekend" but were we ever surprised when Jay Bennett of Scorpion vs Tarantula, one of the Valley's most sought after groups, gave Onus permission to feature this unreleased recording as our first "Jingle of the Weekend."

That's right, through the kind courtesy of Scorpion vs Tarantula and Onus Records, you can download for free this ditty in which L Hotshot realizes her indoor plumbing is backing up, her circuits are fizzling out, and her cooling system is overheating. And the only Dr. Feelgood who can fix the problem is one George Brazil.

"He's gonna come to your house all dressed in white, he's got a red tool box and a big flashlight. His name is B...R...A...Z...I...I...I..."

Yes. That George Brazil. Sung to the tune of Van Morrison and Them's classic "Gloria.

"It's a tune we recorded recently and tried to sell to George Brazil because their jingle is a little tired," Jay explains. "We were just being proactive, because a band's gotta eat. I called their marketing department and laid out the whole spiel, and they chose to never call back. I just assumed Black Carl or somebody beat us to it."

George Brazil's loss is our gain, but a caution to some of you with weak foundations - after hearing this, you may never think of the home services and 24-hour service since 1955 of George Brazil in the same wholesome light.
