Some men are born to build railroads, some are born to walk on Mars. The men of The Jones Affair emerged from their respective birth tunnels with a singular, undeniable goal: to make money.

When that didn’t happen, they decided to form a band. Carefully utilizing the classic elements of pop music created literally decades ago by artists of yore, Peter Gilstrap, Robert Fegen and Brian Irving—yes, their real names—mastered electrical stringed instruments and multiple drums to offer a sound both familiar and unique. Now, they move forth into the world, unafraid to wear white pants.

This blast of power pop from Pasadena is written and sung by the irrepressible Mr. Gilstrap, former Phoenician and music editor of Phoenix New Times. And honorary Sunnyslopian!
